That's where SettlePaws started — with the four o'clock zoomies, the chewed table leg, the pacing the second you reach for your keys. Not a behavior problem. A dog with a working brain and nothing to do with it.

Dogs are built to forage

In the wild, finding food takes hours of sniffing, working, and figuring things out. Pour that same meal into a bowl and it's gone in thirty seconds, and all that mental energy has nowhere to go. So it comes out sideways: chewing, barking, the witching-hour spin around the living room.

Give the instinct something to do and the dog settles. Sniffing is self-soothing — it's why nose-work is recommended for anxious dogs. A slow, steady lick winds a wound-up dog down. A puzzle tires the busy brain in a way a second walk can't.

What we do

SettlePaws curates dog-enrichment toys around three natural instincts: sniff, lick, and solve. Snuffle mats and foraging balls for the nose. Lick mats and slow feeders for the wind-down. Puzzles and treat-dispensers for the problem-solvers.

We don't carry everything. We carry the ones that hold up to a real dog and change how the evening goes: the mat the chewers can't shred, the bowl that turns a thirty-second meal into ten calm minutes.

That's the whole point. No gimmicks, no pressure, no fake countdown clocks — just toys that work the way dogs are wired, and a straight answer when you ask us a question.
