“The dog plays great. A bit small, but enough for a small dog”
“These are lovely! Vibrant colours. I bought for a rescue for dogs who are blind so I’m sure these will stimulate them.”
“Excellent, just like in the listing.”
“I loved the tissue and the colors, my 7 month old husky seems to like it as well!”
“Great products, my pet loves it, the quality isn't too bad!”
“Smaller than I expected, but it was a hit with my 3-month-old puppy.”

“I thought it would be bigger, but for the size of my Chihuahua it turned out perfect.”
“After washing it once at first, the typical fabric smell goes away. My dog plays with it well, so I'm happy with it.”
“Well made, we'll see if my dog likes it.”
“My dog loves it. Before I had this, she would do damage whenever I left her home alone. She would scratch furniture, dump her food all over the floor, and she even tore a hole on my window screens. Now this keeps her busy and there is no damage whenever I get home.”
“Very nice mat. I took it for the puppy, and even the adult dog got interested too. Now they hunt for the hidden treats together. They find it fun. Recommend.”
“It looks as quality product. My only gripe with it is that my puppy in three days found out that it is easier to flip over whole sniffing mat and then collect fell out kibbles... But that is no problem in the product itself which looks good for the money.”
“this item is not as big, but just right size.My pups had lot of fun”
“My dog loved it and it keeps him entertained.”
“My French. Bulldog loves her sniffer mat. Keeps her amused while I am away.”

You can hide treats in it really well, which keeps the dog mentally occupied and busy for longer. Especially for rainy days or when you have less time, it's a perfect activity. The mat stays in place well and doesn't constantly slide around. Cleaning is also straightforward, which really matters day to day. You can really tell how much fun the dog has with it. Turn a handful of kibble into a garden to explore. Hide food among the petals and pockets, then let your dog follow their nose through the mat.
- Flower-design fleece mat with dense petals and corner pockets to tuck treats into — a whole garden to sniff out.
- Lies flat at 19 in / 48 cm, then cinches up with the drawstring for easy storage and travel.
- Soft shaker-fleece feel that owners describe as gentle on the nose; the textured base helps it stay put on the floor.
- Machine washable — toss it in when it needs a refresh, and it folds flat to put away.
- A good fit for small to medium dogs (owners report it suits 7–10 kg pups well).
This is an enrichment and slow-feeding mat, best used while you're nearby — it's made of soft fabric, not built for heavy chewers, so pick up the mat once the treats are found.

What vets and research say
Real findings from peer-reviewed studies and veterinary guidance, matched to this toy.
Sniffing genuinely calms a dog
In a controlled study, two weeks of daily nose work made dogs measurably more optimistic. Foraging settles the mind, it does not just pass time.

Less boredom, fewer bad habits
Veterinary behaviour groups recommend daily enrichment to channel energy and cut boredom-driven chewing and barking.

Good questions
Before you buy.
How do I start with the activity mat?
Hide a few pieces of dry food among the petals and pockets. Start with easy-to-find spots, then let your dog follow their nose through the mat while you stay nearby.
Is it easy to clean? Can I machine-wash it?
Yes. The mat is soft fleece and machine-washable, so kibble dust and drool come out easily. Owners tell us it stays soft after washing and folds flat for storage.
What size is it, and which dogs is it for?
It's a flat flower mat about 19 in / 48 cm across, sized for small and medium dogs and puppies. Honest note: it reads larger in photos than it feels in hand, so very large breeds may finish it quickly.
Is this a chew toy?
No, it's a feeding and enrichment mat, not a chew toy. Use it for supervised mealtimes or sniff sessions and pick it up after, especially with strong chewers who might pull at the fleece.
What goes in it, and what's included?
You hide dry kibble or small dry treats down in the fleece petals and pockets, then let your dog sniff each piece out. You receive the snuffle mat itself, ready to fill and use.
Does it slide around or smell when it arrives?
It has a non-slip backing to stay put while your dog noses through it. Owners also note it arrives without any chemical smell, so it's ready to use after a quick first wash.
